RV Registry

2008 Ford E 450
Our Newlyweds are preparing for a National Adventure with the purchase of a Disability Lift Van from Portland's Tri Met Transportation System
Finding it at the big auction up in St. Johns, Sarah stood tall at the bidding, then John made the restorative repairs.
Now the rebuilt 6 liter is a rolling leviathan of diesel up-lift.

In this bus, they plan to install water systems like (this)

To do so requires things from CAMPING WORLD like:
This Macerator (here) or this Holding Tank (here) and this 20 gallon Greywater Tank (here) or any kind of generator, for example (this)
Heaters like these:  (here) & (here)
This washer dryer combo (here)

Or products from HOME DEPOT like: this water heater (here)

Bring an Umbrella!

Camp chair, hat, boots and umbrella. (baseball gloves are optional)
Please bring a camp chair, warm boots, a warm hat, a sunny disposition and an Umbrella. Forget fancy, think WARM!

Even in June, weather up at Lost Lake is cold and unpredictable. While there will be food, photos, cake cutting, and lodging conveniently close at hand to our ceremony, the event will be almost entirely,  out of doors.

Bride and Groom
will be jumping in the ice cold mountain lake, rain or shine.

Our Intrepid
Sea Faring
Pastor
will take to the high seas
in a special boat,
hand built and manned
by our ocean going  friend, Bob Grummel.
See:
Bob Grummel.

Our wedding party will be rowing around in the famous
Lost Lake rental boats.

You can have a boat to row around in too, if you would like.
But bride and groom will swim over toward the north end of the lake where a small bridge spans about 40 feet of water. That is where we will take our vows of matrimony.

Many of you may wish to look over the railing of the bridge, or sit on the nearby shore on each side of the narrow straight leading up to the bridge.

Just say our name and we will wave to you!

Boatwoman of The Cloth

Pastor Tina Combs, Youth Pastor at Hood River Alliance Church is performing our matrimonial ceremony from a row boat.

Her engagement to life and devotion to the Holy Spirit guarantee our ceremony shall be performed in a proper, and orderly fashion.

Born and raised in Hood River, she is familiar with Lost Lake. Her adventurous attitude, her understanding of maritime protocols on the high seas, and her familiarity with CPR will insure everyone watching on this glorious day, that those getting married, will not drown.

A mathematician who once lived in Jordan, she too married a great guy named John.  Sermonizing superior to the surface of  the shallows by the shore, she'll select serious Psalms to say.

With an encouraging smile and a kind personality, she shall be blessing us all.
